So Kory and I are back from Malibu. We spent the weekend at Pepperdine with our church praise team, recording a CD. One of Kory’s childhood friends actually produces a cappella music for Pepperdine, so he was the producer for this record also.
All in all, things went pretty well. The group blended really well (especially with each of us singing thrice per track), and the amount of time was perfect for the number of songs. The only thing I’m sad about is that we never got down to the beach … Jeremy (Kory’s friend) had this huge recording setup with a bunch of plugins for ProTools. I was jealous! 
When we buy a house, I’ll have to make sure we reserve a room for studio/media/tech/entertainment purposes. I want a greenscreen and soundproof walls.
Caspian spent the weekend by himself with three bowls of food, a big pot of water (literally), and three pee pads. He was so crazy when we got home last night! He licked me for five minutes straight. Literally. And he wouldn’t let me put him down for ten. My poor puppy! :’( But he was a big boy and was good.
