I went to the garden store today and got some plants; Caspian and I put them together this afternoon! I called Papa for advice on what to buy, and here’s what I wound up with:
- Marigolds
- Ageratum
- Unidentified Red Flowers
- 2 kinds of unidentified Purple Flowers
- Scottish Moss
- 2 kinds of Fern
I also got some green onion seeds but I ran out of room in the flower box. I probably put too much in the flower boxes anyway … Oh well, here’s hoping they’ll grow!
In other news … Caspian got neutered yesterday!
Kory went to a crawfish boil today but I stayed home to nurse the invalid. I think the garden cheered him up (as did the dirt he managed to eat).

Gardening! I’m impressed! The veggies sound really good.
I stayed home all day and cleaned some house that I should have done before there was a houseful of people here last weekend.

Your garden is lovely. I’m so jealous (I guess I’m really just lazy).
Poor Caspi. Give him a gramma hug.

What a nice garden! Makes me want toget out and start turning dirt. Gram often places two tiny sprigs, perhaps one of a blossom or two and one of some greenery or aromatic herb in an attractive glass or ceramic egg cup on our kitchen table. This can be done year round. There is always something available. Hope the squirrels don’t bother your tomatoes just before you pick them. With love, PaPa

Re: Garden. Did PaPa recommend the unidentified flowers? Ask Jessica about her bean project for HS Biology some day. I had nothing to do with it . . . .
