Well, Jessica and Claire left today after spending the week here. Jessica had lots of fun at her conference, and Claire had lots of fun (I hope) playing the Sims 2 all day every day. We went to Best Buy several times (alas, no Wii’s in stock … ever), went out to eat a lot, watched a movie, shopped at Half-Price books, got coffee several times, etc. Caspian was very happy to have extra attention-givers around, and Kory and I even made St. Patrick’s Day breakfast! All in all, it was a fun week.
Ok, now I’m off to go play with my new virtual aquarium Kory got me. 
I got a promotion! Yayy! I start Monday, and I’m still at work right now moving all my files to the new office.
I also finished (finally) the wedding DVD. Anybody who wants a copy let me know.
Jessica and Claire are here for Spring Break. Jessica is doing some space conference, and Claire is playing the Sims 2 and babysitting Caspian. Ah, to be in high school again! Wait, what am I saying? Anyway, I get tomorrow off and I’ll finally get to have some fun with them!
YAY PROMOTION!
I went to the garden store today and got some plants; Caspian and I put them together this afternoon! I called Papa for advice on what to buy, and here’s what I wound up with:
- Marigolds
- Ageratum
- Unidentified Red Flowers
- 2 kinds of unidentified Purple Flowers
- Scottish Moss
- 2 kinds of Fern
I also got some green onion seeds but I ran out of room in the flower box. I probably put too much in the flower boxes anyway … Oh well, here’s hoping they’ll grow!
In other news … Caspian got neutered yesterday! 
Kory went to a crawfish boil today but I stayed home to nurse the invalid. I think the garden cheered him up (as did the dirt he managed to eat).
