Kory and Kelly

Kory and I went to see the new 007 flick last week, and it was fabulous! It was only the second movie we’ve been to since last Christmas and it was a nice date.

Fresh off the success of our last venture … Last night Kory had to work so I went by myself to see The Holiday with Jude Law et al. It was very cute and I highly recommend it for those who like chick flicks. However, Cameron Diaz got shown up a bit in the acting department. I also do not recommend the popcorn at our local movie theater, as most of it was ok but every once in awhile I’d get a funky tasting kernel.

Did some Christmas shopping online and ordered Caspi a new tag … Kory is off to audition at UT in Austin today. I slept till 12:30 for the first time in many moons. I may get a haircut today, who knows?

My student worker told me about a new scam to be aware of … People are taking pictures of the backs of gift cards while in line and then, once they have been purchased by someone else, redeeming them online. So if you’re buying any gift cards make sure to get them from behind the counter.
