Well, Kory and I set up our Christmas tree tonight! We used our Home Depot gift certificates to buy some of the trimmings and went to Target for the rest. I had my box of tree decorations, collected over the course of my life, and Kory had some larger items which we placed about the apartment. We turned on the holiday music channel on the TV and tried not to let Caspi eat anything inedible.
Caspian has been enjoying his Japanese bone, brought to him by Mom and Dad on their recent trip to Japan. I have also been enjoying my box of goodies from Japan/Abilene/Waurika. Thanks guys! 
A sudden cold front came in this morning - as I was driving to work, it was 70 degrees at Hobby Airport and 41 degrees in other parts of Houston. So it was perfect for tree decorating. There was also a beautiful sunset this evening, and I of course took pictures.
Caspian went to the vet again yesterday for his rabies vaccination, among other things. He now weighs 4 LBS 8 OZ!! I’m very sad.
Work is stressing me out right now. However, on the plus side, I finally got the green light to purchase the hosting plan for my database!
Wow, I just deleted a few hundred spam comments. Haters.
Well, Juice came to visit from Friday to Sunday, and we had lots of fun. We watched fifty or so episodes of Stargate, made homemade salsa and fudge, wrote one HP song, and hung out. Also, we invented a new flavor of fudge: Jeff Davis Fudge! It is seriously awesome. She had lots of fun with Caspian, and I think she is secretly second-guessing her decision to get a kitty … Ok maybe not but they did enjoy each others’ company. I mean, how could you resist this face? Maybe this one.
Kory has to work today so I may order a pizza for dinner. The puppy, as usual, will be eating dog food.

In other news, we’ve left Caspian alone in the living room a couple of times now (as opposed to confined in the kitchen. He did chew some stuffing out of one of my couch pillows during church today, but that’s the only major mishap so far.
