Kory and Kelly

Dad, Mom, Melanie and Claire stopped by for a few days last week on their family vacation. I was super busy completing a brochure for work, but I did get to see them a couple of times! I haven’t seen the fam since the wedding, so it was a nice break.

Then Claire stayed with Kory and me for the weekend. We (Claire and I) got our hair cut, went to the Galleria and gorged on candy from Dylan’s, and played Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix. We also challenged Kory to a game of Super Mario Party. I only have two controllers, so that meant I got to use the Dance pad as mine … Claire would’ve won if Kory hadn’t stolen all her stars near the end of the game!

I finally got around to posting some “newlywed” pictures, mostly consisting of Kory and I cooking (and being very proud of our efforts). Check ‘em out!
Today I bought Katamari Damacy, my first PS2 game (now that Kory’s console is accessible) and Mario Kart DS. Both are very fun.

Name that movie. Happy 4th of July everybody! We celebrated by going to an Astros game which they won 7-2 over the Cubs! Go Astros! It was also dollar hot dog day and we took advantage by eating our fair share of one of America’s favorite foods. We hope everyone is having a great holiday. God Bless America! And you!

I officially changed my name today! Now my dream of seeing the name “Kelly M. Haseltine” on the cover of a book will never be realized. Unless somebody steals it.
