I got the wedding pictures in the mail from Mom this afternoon. There were, I believe, 717 photos on 4 CDs! I put some of them online for friends and family to see and/or download - make sure you download the original (largest) size if you want to make a print! Some of my bridal portraits are also online.
I finally bit the bullet and upgraded our Flickr account to withstand the huge amount of photos we took at the wedding and honeymoon.
I also uploaded pictures from the rehearsal dinner - take a look! I’m going to wait to upload the honeymoon pics till after I receive the wedding pic CD from my mom so that the Photostream will be be in chronological order. What can I say? I like things to be organized.
Last night we went grocery shopping and I made a brilliant spinach-artichoke dip. Ok, ok, so I got the recipe from Copykat, but I did make it my own by topping it with mozzarella and tomatoes. It was delicious and we both smelled like garlic today. I’ve got pictures of that to put up, too.
Also … If you are family or friends (or stalkers), please leave us a comment and/or vote on the poll! We like feeling as if somebody besides us reads this blog.
Much thanks to the cool cats who already do.
Work was cancelled today due to rain, but no one told me and so I showed up at 8 to an empty office. I hung around and delt with the zillion emails I got while we were gone, then went home around 10. It was nice to be able to spend the day with Kory, especially since he has rehearsals tonight and it will be just me and the $1 Totino’s pizza.
Well, Kory and I are back home (!) from Jamaica, complete with souvenir sunburns.
The wedding and reception were both perfect! One fish did die during the reception, but cousin Shawn was on top of the Fish Patrol and the powers that be were able to spirit it away into Fish Heaven and (I assume) replace it with an extra.
I will post pictures of the festivities as soon as I get them. Mom said Gerald took about 600 … so I will probably just weed out the best. ![]()
I’m going to Abilene this afternoon for the official pre-wedding chaos! Yay!
Kory’s been moving all his stuff in this week, and I’ve been doing my best to find a place for everything. We also bought a new car, a new entertainment center, and curtains! So the apartment is starting to look like home.
I still have lots on my to-do list, but at least we have a soprano. Thanks, Jenny!
