Some teachers and parents threw a shower for us at Northland Wednesday afternoon. It was very nice despite the fact that I was braving it alone as Kelly was not able to make it. It was a gift card themed shower and we received a lot of cards to places including Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, The Home Depot, Walmart, Kroger, Smoothie King, and Starbucks. I don’t have any pictures to post as is the usual custom here but if I get some, I’l be sure and do that.

Sounds like a wonderful kind of shower! I may have to steal that idea sometime for some other occasion. That way you can fill in what you need from all kinds of places!
