Welcome to all those of you who are new to the site! Invitations went out a few days ago, and we’re asking everyone to please RSVP online. Feel free to post comments on the blog, as well.
I can’t believe there are only 25 days left. Twenty-five is a quarter. A quarter isn’t even enough for a tollbooth.
So Mom succeeded in tracking down the very famous composer Patrick Cassidy, whose work has appeared in movies like Hannibal and Kingdom of Heaven, and I got to talk to him on the phone! He was very nice and very Irish. He wished me a happy day on my wedding and is sending a full score of “Listen to the Cleric’s Bell” for somebody to sing. Cool, huh?
Some teachers and parents threw a shower for us at Northland Wednesday afternoon. It was very nice despite the fact that I was braving it alone as Kelly was not able to make it. It was a gift card themed shower and we received a lot of cards to places including Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, The Home Depot, Walmart, Kroger, Smoothie King, and Starbucks. I don’t have any pictures to post as is the usual custom here but if I get some, I’l be sure and do that.
Day 38: Scouted wedding bands with Geisu during lunch.
Day 37: Got a manicure and pedicure. Ok so that’s not really wedding related, but it sure helped destress …
It’s officially time to freak out.
And clean my apartment …
