Yes, indeed. Thursday marks Kory’s and my FOUR-YEAR anniversary. Ah, the good old days … In the satiric spirit of retrospectives, let us examine some of the characteristics of “old us.”
- We call each other by our real names.
- We call each other “baby.”
- Kory is in college.
- I have short hair.
- Kory doesn’t have a computer.
- I mope around with a sad face because Kory is in Houston.
- We IM instead of text.
- Boys hit on me.
- We go to Chili’s every week instead of every other week.
- We hold real conversations with each other, instead of one person voicing both parts so the other is saved the trouble of responding.
- I don’t have a ring!
We will be marking the occasion with an IMAX (hopefully) showing of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and a loooong fondue dinner. Congratulations are welcome!
